Network Engineer
Certifications:
Operating systems cert in progress (MCP or CNA)
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years experience in advanced networking
integration and operations. Good understanding and working knowledge of
various multi-vendor networking topologies and cabling configurations. 2-3
years experience in the installation and operation of Novell Netware,
Microsoft Server, IBM OS/2 and Apple based networks. Typically requires
BA/BS or equivalent networking experience. Must have a good understanding of
Systems Layout and Systems Architecture.
Description:
Carries out the daily operations of all local and wide
area networking systems including multi-vendor server hardware and software;
various network cabling topologies, high speed data communication links
between offices, distribution centers, branch locations and remote mainframe
processing centers. Designs, implements and maintains the Corporate
electronic email system. Software installation responsibilities.
